Step back in time, when a letter in the mailbox meant someone was thinking of you, not just another bill or piece of junk mail. Each month Prairie Post invites you to slow down, set down the weight of the world for a little while, and spend 40 minutes immersed in a heartfelt story from a little community tucked into the Kansas Flint Hills, where animals face real struggles that feel surprisingly familiar, discover life lessons, rally around one another, and remind us that there is always a seat at the table waiting for us. Your monthly mail includes a thoughtfully written fairytale story, beautifully illustrated artworks by my son (5x7 collectible art card and die cut stickers), illustrated affirmation card, real Field Notes introducing you to the prairie's animals, hands-on activities, self-worth journal entry, stickers, a handcrafted newsletter centering the story and the prairie in real life, and little surprises designed to help you not only escape into the story, but learn to love and care for the largest remaining tallgrass prairie left in the world. Our hope is that Prairie Post becomes more than something you receive in the mail, but becomes a place you can return to, month after month to unwind, wonder, learn, connect, and remember that you belong.
