Wool Art Kits

Slow down.  Feel the wool.  Create something that lasts.

Our sheep's wool felted art kits bring together the natural beauty of real sheep's wool fibers, hands-on creativity, and the timeless tradition of fiber art. The gentle rhythm of felting, the softness of natural wool fibers, and the satisfying tap, tap, tap of the needle create a wonderfully tactile, almost ASMR like experience.

More than a craft, felting invites you to slow down, relax, create, and reconnect with something made by hand.  Research on crafts like wool felting, suggests that these hands-on creative activities support relaxation and provide short-term improvements in stress, anxiety, mood, and promote overall well-being.  Allowing your mind and body some respite from the worries of the world.

The practice of wool felting itself, has a remarkable history, with practices spanning thousands of years across many different cultures.  Our kits carry a little of the history forward-from farm, to fiber, to art.

Rooted in history.  Made by hand.  Inspired by the land.

Our wool kits provide a relaxing activity for children, families, educators, caregivers, and anyone that needs a creative outlet or crafting hobby.  For children, working with fiber can offer opportunities to explore texture, color, hand-eye coordination, fine-motor skills, patience, and creative decision making.    For adults, it's a calming chance to put down the phone, quiet the to-do list, and spending some time simply making something beautiful from a raw product in nature.  For families, it can become something even more meaningful: time together.

It is tactile.  Rhythmic.  Creative.  And wonderfully absorbing!

For children with sensory or neurological differences (like our son and the reason we started wool felting), a tactile fiber activity may be appealing because it offers texture, repetition, and a concrete creative process, but every child responds differently, and our kits aren't intended as a treatment or therapy alone.  We advise adult supervision and help with children because our kits include a sharp needle to make these project art pieces.

We are a small on-farm business, making our wool kits by hand with a small inventory. We do restock each week!
